If you listen to the people who want to revise history to suit their own political agenda they will tell you that this Country was not founded on a firm and solid commitment to the Christian faith.
Of course if you know anything about our history you know that this is not true. The men and women that founded this Country were devout Christians. They looked for God's guidance every day of their life and received it.
While the vast majority of the countries of the world during that time had been around for thousands of years we as a country were brand new.
In a very brief period of time we went from a weak brand new nation to the only superpower in the world.
Why?
Because for two hundred years God has been respected and worshiped in this Country. It's only in the last 40 to 50 years that this is not the case. And look at what has resulted. I don't need to describe it to you, unless you are profoundly disabled you can recognize the fall of our civilization which occurred in the last 40 years.
We are in the post civilization age of this country. Our civilization and society are dead and gone. There is no debate here. If you're over fifty years old, you know it. If you're under 50 years old, you don't even remember what it was like to be an American. What a glorious Country it was back then.
That is because We respected and had a special relationship with God Almighty.
Take a look at Israel. God's chosen people. They Came back to their homeland in 1948. Just 50 years ago. They are today the 5th most powerful country in the world. Guess why?
God brought them home in order to fulfill the end time prophesies. This is what he is doing right now as you read this. If you have any knowledge of the Bible at all you must be able to see the signs of the times.
Will we turn this nation around?
God knows. I don't. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure I care anymore. I will just continue to serve the God of My Fathers and His Son Jesus Christ until He calls us home or until I die. I will do my best to spread the Good New of Jesus until I am unable to do it anymore. Then I can say I have fought the good fight and am ready for my eternity with God and the Heavenly Hosts.
Jesus said that if you are not with Him, you are against Him. You serve one of two masters. There is no middle ground "gray area". If you don't serve Jesus the Son of the Living God, you serve satan. It's really just that simple.
It's time to choose where you will spend eternity. It is after all your choice. God sends no one to hell, you send yourself there. He does however give you a way to Heaven. That is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior and picking up your cross everyday and following Him. Repent and turn from your sins and seek life through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.
In the long run, what happens to this world means nothing. Life is just a vapor in time. This planet was meant to be disposable. It was not meant to last. God's promise is that the Heavens and Earth shall pass away and he will build it all brand new. Makes it kind of silly to be a tree hugger doesn't it. Read Revelation to see what's going to happen to this temporary world.
Now if you're not a Christian this has to be a frightening prospect. And it is. If you're not a Christian you're going to spend eternity in hell where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This is a place of punishment for ever and ever. It will never end. This place was not created for people, it was created for satan and his angels (demons). I've heard friends of mine say that they want to go to hell because that's where their friends will be and they want to party hearty!
There will be no party in hell. Torment without end is what the Bible says. It is hard for human beings to understand what that means. There are a lot of things that are hard for human beings to understand. It is really in your best interest to find out as much as you can before you just dismiss God and what he offers. If you're not a Christian, find out what is in store for you, and what God has planned for Christians.
There are plenty of people who claim to be Christians who are not. Be in the Word of God daily and in prayer daily and you will grow in God's grace and He will see you through. Don't try to sit on the fence by being politically correct. Take a stand for what you know is right. How do you know that? The Bible and a good prayer life will lead you on the path you need to travel. Remember narrow is the gate to salvation and few will enter there. Be one of the few that goes through the narrow gate. Don't be one that goes through the wide gate. It's easier to be sure, but it leads to destruction and many will go through there.
Someone once told me that "I don't believe in your
God." One of the few things that all men and women throughout history
have in common is that someday every one of them will believe in God. If
you're not a Christian that's the day that you stand before Him to be
judged. As for Christians, we believed all a long.
The Choice is yours.
You will have an eternity. Everyone will. What kind will yours be?
