In Cambodia it is against the law to hold a Bible study. If you are caught, it can result in death.
One night in a small home in Cambodia a group of soldiers broke in on a group of people holding Bible study.
The Leader of the Soldiers threw the Bible down on the ground and told everyone that they would have to "spit on this book of lies" if they wanted to live.
The Minister asked the Lord to forgive him and he spat on the Bible. The rest of the people there took their turns spitting on the Bible until a little sixteen year old girl with tears in her eyes picked up the Bible, wiped it off with her dress and asked "What have they done to you"?
The Soldier put the gun to her head and pulled the trigger.
The little girl died.
This is one of the people I want to meet when I go to be with the Lord. I also want to meet the thief that was on the cross next to Jesus.
Isn't it sad that people will think that this young woman was foolish for her faith. She is with the Lord now and for all time and the poor people who think she was foolish will probably spend eternity in torment.
Pray for our people that they might seek Jesus before it is too late for them.
