Grandpa Tino was a railroad section foreman on the Canadian Pacific Railroad CPR. He worked for them for over 30 years.
They took in children less fortunate then themselves. Even though the family was large, there was always others staying with them through rough times. During Halloween, Grandpa would build a huge fire out of old railroad ties and the whole town would show up to enjoy the fire and the night of Halloween.
