Do you always feel like we are concentrating
on the wrong things?

In these times as Christians so many of us
are concentrating on the end times, the Rapture
or other critical areas of the faith because we
see them coming to the final conclusion so quickly.

I think it is important to study and stay continually
ready for our Lord's return. But I don't want to
forget the most important thing that we should be
sharing with others.

The love of Jesus is what we should be proclaiming.

He came to give us a path to the Father. Without him,
we have nothing because we have no path to the Father.

He hung on the cross and took our sins on himself. No
one killed him, he gave up his life for us. He could
have called 7 legions of angels to protect him but he
didn't.

Why?

Because He loves you and me. He loves us so much that
he took our sins on himself. He took so much sin to the
cross for us that God cut himself off  from Jesus. That's
why Jesus cried out "My God My God, why have you forsaken me?"

Jesus must have had a very close relationship to the Father
throughout his life, and it must have been the hardest
thing to endure when God cut himself off from the Lord.
How alone he must have felt after a lifetime of close
communion with God.

Even in his hour of torment though Jesus was still thinking
of his people. The thief on the cross next to him ask him
to "remember me when you enter your kingdom". And Jesus
promised "today shalt thou be with me in paradise".

What a wonderful savior.

I am a servant of Jesus. I long to be his slave and to serve him for all eternity.

I want to meet my Lord. I want to meet the thief that was
on the cross next to my Lord. I want to meet Lazarus, Moses, Peter, Paul and all the rest of the faithful servants.

The time is indeed close. All the signs are present today.
The rapture of the church is at hand.

Jesus said that it would be a surprise. He said that he would
come as a thief in the night and that people would be asleep.

There cannot be many more prophesies fulfilled before  it won't be a surprise. So the time must be close.

My Brothers and Sisters I look forward to meeting you
in the New Jerusalem. We must proclaim the love of Jesus to our Families and Friends to help them be among the ones
that will meet us there.
